Book 3 of 3: Kat Wilde Upper Peninsula (U.P.) Michigan Mysteries

Situated in the rugged terrain of western Upper Michigan, Wildwood Stables, a struggling horse venture, puts Kat Wilde to task as she works to preserve her late uncle's dream. The promise of a lasting relationship with her sort-of boyfriend, DNR Officer Nikko Olsen, seems out of reach as he grapples with his own problems involving bizarre deer activity and his newfound role as a father.

Kat rescues a horse from an unusual situation, triggering a mystery that soon follows a trail of sinister events, including murder. A horrifying discovery in the Peshekee River somehow connects to a frightened woman who seeks refuge at Wildwood Stables. Her hazy past involving a champion horse, scandal, and greed delivers an extra layer of intrigue to this mystery. An unforgettable cast of characters, along with suspense, humor, and romance, energizes this fast-paced cozy.
